Blower in October
2 feet of fresh... Worked all day then headed out with my neighbor Steve for some sweet powder turns in Purple Palace. We set a skin track and then had a 1000 foot blank canvas to carve. I can't frickin' believe it is only October 18th and already my 2nd ski day of the season.
Here's Steve and his dog, Powder, breaking trail for a bit. Gibson was out of commission today after a short ski on Saturday when he busted up a toenail pretty bad (he's going to be very jealous of Powder when he sees these pics). The uphill was a little rough but we shared the trailbreaking and reached our highpoint in about 1.5 hours.
Oh sweet glorious powder turns. Worth the effort.

I'm jealous too, Mr. Gibson! Hooray for snow ... it won't be too long before we have it here on the east coast too! Yay!
